Finding Affiliate Opportunities

Google - This is the best first step to find affiliate programs. Doing a search for "Affiliate" programs will generate a lot of results. By going through these results you'll find different areas to get into. Your search will also take you to affiliate hubs where many affiliate programs are located like Linkshare.com, Commissionjunction.com Clickbank.com. Within these hubs there are many companies you can join.

  • Step 2 Another place to find affiliates is by looking at popular places online where services/products are sold. Many of them have their own internal affiliate program. Companies like Amazon.com, Ebay.com and Paypal.com have affiliate programs that reward you when you help other buy from their site or use their service.

  • Step 3 When becoming an affiliate for a company, once accepted, you'll have access to their text and graphic links. This work well if you have a website to put them on. It works even BETTER if your website subject is similar to the company you want to be an affiliate for, for example: If your website discusses electronics and cell phone being an affiliate of AT&T or MetroPCS would be a natural fit. This way you regular visitors can seamlessly click the links/ads to see what services the company provides and possibly buy in.

  • Step 4 If you don't have a website you can create a sales page or jump page to put the links on so when customer find that page they can click your link and go to the company’s sales site. Additionally, if you don’t have a website you can look for companies that give their affiliates coded web pages like http:/www.eblitter.com.
